Stash Enhancement
Oh dear, more Prairie Paisley. I don't know what it is about this fabric, but I I love it. After looking at what I have and what I want to do with it, I decided I needed more of the red. And, as the line is fast disappearing, I thought I probably wouldn't be able to do without the ticking stripe and the large print. I want the ticking for the binding, and I want to fussy cut that big print somehow.
I've never fallen this way for a fabric line before--mostly I just browse the fat quarter bins. I seldom even buy yardage, except for borders or backings. Enough is enough, though. This quilt has grown from a little wall hanging to bed size quilt. I seriously need to get out my graph paper and make some definite plans while I'm still fired up about it.
The weather here has turned warmer in the last few days. The forsythia popped out sometime this week and I've noticed daffodils are beginning to bloom here and there. Spring has sprung!

when You find a fabric you like this much you need to buy yardage of it!
looks wonderful, can't wait to see the quilt you make from it
I love these 3 fabrics together , makes me want to go buy some too!
Uh oh - the tide has changed...
Seriously if you really like it that much, but a bunch. I did that & I still smile over the fact that I still have some (a few yards) of it...
Unfortunately I have too much of "why did you buy that" fabric too...
I think your picture is definitely better! how did you add "dented thimble quilting" to the picture? I have seen that on many pics on different blogs and would like to do the same.
btw, the pretty prairie is verrry pretty and veryy enticing.
I used a lot of that line in my grandson's quilts and I love it. It just blends together so beautifully. I also used a lot of other scraps in the quilts I made and the Prairie Paisley looked great with whatever I put with it.
I just finished a quilt made from the Prairie Paisley line of fabric. I debated and debated over buying it and waited until it was almost to late, but being the terrific fabric shopper that I am, I was able to locate enough for 2 quilts! LOL
By the way I can't wait to see what you make from this fabric.
Very pretty and fresh colours in that fabric. No wonder you fell in love with it.
