Not much has changed on the design wall this week, I'm afraid. Cleaning up after the storm and setting up my classroom took up most of my time. But I put together two more strips, so now I have three out of seven done. It's getting there, slowly. I am determined to get this one together before I start a new project--and oh, I am dying to start something new.
Maybe next week?
Check out Judy's blog to see what everyone else has on their design walls this week.
More heavy thunderstorms are moving through the area after the hottest day we've had so far this summer. The stand pipe is already set up so we can rest easy tonight.

We had a night and then half a day of thunderstorms here too...made for a great day to sleep in...but a super soggy back yard. On the plus side, it broke the high temps and made for a decent afternoon! Feel for ya!
Ugh! I'm sure the last thing you want or need is more storms!
I like it! Nice & bright.
Like you, we have had lots of lots of rain for the entire summer up here in Toronto. We are the fortunate ones ... no flooding in our neighbourhood so far ... others in Toronto have not been so lucky. At least you got your water under control.
Love your blocks on the design wall ... they are so colourful.
Even though we are usually pretty dry out here in the west, we've also had a lot of thunderstorms this summer. That lightening is the worst part for us because of the fires that start. No problems with flooding. I'm not sure which is worse!
I love your 9-patch. So cheerful. I think I'm inspired to make one....
